When You Are Pregnant, It Is All About Baby Names
As soon as you find out you’re pregnant one of the first questions you are asked is what you are going to name your baby. This in and of itself is a simple question, but it is asked with the assumption that you have already planned the names, or that you have some insight as to what the sex of your baby is going to be. It is not so simple to answer if you aren’t one of the little girls that planned out her baby names for each and every child that she dreamt of having. If you don’t have planned baby names the moment you find out you are pregnant, and even if you do, you will find yourself working through lists of names that you couldn’t imagine labeling your child with to names that have the sound like perfection to your ears.
You already know that you don’t want your baby name to be difficult, you know that you want it to be beautiful. You know that you don’t want everyone in their school to have their name, but your also don’t want it to be so unique that it causes distractions in their life. You have even thought about it so much that if your baby was to become famous you’d want them to have a name that they were proud of. You are so focused and determined to finding the perfect baby name that you have spent so much time going through so many boy and girl names that they are all starting to sound the same.
As a parent you will have your own criteria for the name you want to give your child. You may consider combining names from both of your parents, your grandparents, or even a combination of your name and the fathers. You may look at a list of traditional baby girl names and find that you adore the name Grace, or can see your daughter to growing up to be a Clementine. In the long run, it does matter what you name your baby, and you know this. Which is why until you find the perfect name for your little girl or boy you are going to continue to look, even if it means your baby has to wait until he or she is born before you figure it out.
